Staffin Island Ceilidh Band is a 6 piece Scottish dance band, based in Central Scotland. The band is blessed with a talented, dedicated caller, who excels at getting bums off seats and onto the dance floor. They have a fantastic range of cover songs under their sporrans, including a few traditional numbers. They teach 18 dances, from the traditional to the down right funky, and play some lively tuneful arrangements. They also perform a wide array of pop covers giving them the ability to split the night 50/50 ceilidh to pop, guaranteed to keep the whole room partying!!
The band's dedicated caller Chris has a passion for fun and unusual dances, his interactive and attentive calling style means even inexperienced dancers can easily learn even the most challenging dances.
