Raymond is a highly regarded Scottish comedian, actor, and after-dinner speaker, known for his quick wit and unique brand of humour. Born in Glasgow, he began his career in comedy in the 1990s, quickly gaining recognition for his talent as both a stand-up comedian and an after-dinner speaker.

Raymond's style of comedy has been compared to that of fellow Glaswegian comedian Billy Connolly, and he has often been referred to as "Scotland's answer to Billy Connolly". However, Raymond has developed his own distinctive style, drawing on his own life experiences and observations to create a hilarious and relatable comedy that resonates with audiences of all ages.

In addition to his work as a stand-up comedian and after-dinner speaker, Raymond is also a talented compere and has hosted a variety of events and awards ceremonies across Scotland. He is a regular performer at the Edinburgh Fringe, where he has received critical acclaim for his solo shows.
